In most variations of poker, each hand will contain two cards. These cards are referred to as the “action” and “reaction” cards. The action card is what the player will draw after drawing the three of the group, and the reaction card is what the player will flip over after drawing a single card from the deck. Typically, players will bluff by betting with the expectation of seeing the other players act at an illegal or strange manner, usually intending to make the other players fold or bet high. Bluffing in poker works best when bluffing is combined with strong play on the hand that is already in action. This will increase the odds of the bluff succeeding.

There are two general types of poker play: blind and straight. In blind poker, all of the players are playing poker with no one person having a complete hand. This is usually the starting hand in Texas Holdem games. In straight flush, all of the players are betting high before the flop, but they are not all betting at the same time.
